League Structure

Major Division: |
Usually comprised of 11-12 year olds.
All 12 year olds are eligible to play in the Majors. The
player agent may suggest that certain 12 year olds play at the
Minor A division; however, the parent will make the final
decision. |

Minor Division: |
consists of the 3 divisions below to meet the various maturity and skill
levels of players age -12:
Minor A:  10-11 year olds with some 12 year olds.
Minor B:  consists mostly of 9-10 year olds.
Minor C:  7-8 year olds. Emphasis is directed toward developing fundamental
baseball skills. Note: A pitching machine is used during games at this level.

T-Ball Division: |
5-6 year olds. Seven year olds are permitted to play at this level.

Boundaries
The KAU
Little League serves boys and girls who live in the Kennett
Consolidated and Unionville School Districts. Any child
who resides in Kennett Square, Kennett, New Garden, Newlin,
Pennsbury, Pocopson, Birmingham, East Marlboro and West Marlboro
townships can play in the league. KAU is an official Little League
chartered by Williamsport, PA and all games are played under Little
League rules.
Eligibility KAU Little League is open to all children between the ages of 5 and 16 as of
April 30st of each year. The league is open to players who live within the
established physical boundaries, subject to adherence to established rules
and required parental support. In addition, player candidates must have parental
or legal guardian consent.
Operations KAU Little League is an all-volunteer league. Many parents devote their personal
time to support and operate the league. Help is always needed - if you are interested
