The Kennett Lions won the Big League John Snyder Memorial Tournament this past weekend. The Lions are the 1st KAU team to win this tournament in the thirteen (13) year history of the tournament. The Kennett Knights placed 2nd to the Lions losing 8-1 in the Championship held at West Chester University.

It was a great accomplishment for both Kennett teams to be in the finals as they both won their Pools to get to the final game. Tyler Fries was awarded the first ever "Duke Award" MVP of the game after having pitched a complete game. The award was voted on by the six (6) umpires who oversaw the game.



KAU would like to congratulate the 2009 International Little League boys baseball team for winning the Pennsylvania District 28 tournament and second place finish in the PA Section 7 Tournament!
