2025 KAU Fall Baseball

Welcome to KAU Little League's 2025 Fall Baseball season! Teams will be formed at the end of August, and the season will run from September through October.

In the Fall, ALL players will "play up" one age group. Fall divisions use the 2026 "League Age" chart, found HERE. ***For example, if you have an 8-year old, and the system says they are eligible for KAU Minors ("League Age" 9-10), they will be playing with players that are currently 8-9. 2025 Fall Baseball Divisions

Tee Ball (Saturday Only): League Age 4-5. Players must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025. If a player has already played a previous season of tee ball and plans to play coach pitch next spring, it is advised to play up in the Farm Division. The Tee Ball division plays once per week on Saturdays.

Farm Baseball (Coach Pitch): All League Age 6; new League Age 7. This division practices once per week, and plays 1-2 games per week. Weekdays will be either a game or practice, and Saturdays will be a game. Focus is developmental, instructing players on the basics of throwing, fielding, and hitting. Some players may start hitting off a tee, but the goal will be for all players to be hitting coach pitch by the end of the season.

* Players age 7 that are new to the game, we recommend playing in the Farm Division. For experienced 7 year-olds, we recommend playing in the Rookies Division to prepare for the spring season. *

Rookies Baseball (Kid + Coach Pitch): League Age 7-8. Players will be introduced to pitching. The pitching distance will be adjusted to accommodate the players' ability. Coach pitch will be implemented when 4 balls are thrown to a batter to encourage hitting and more action in the field. This division is played on 46'/60' field dimensions.

Minors Baseball (Kid Pitch): League Age 9-10. This is a full kid pitch division and played on 46'/60' field dimensions.

Intermediate Baseball: League Age 11-13. This is a full kid pitch division and played on 50'/70' field dimensions.

** Players age 13 may choose to play either Intermediate or Juniors. **

Junior/Senior Divisions: League Age 13-16, this division plays at NVF Field, which is KAU's "big field" with 90' base paths. For Senior Division, please sign up on the KUBA site.

About KAU: KAU Little League offers a great youth sports opportunity for our local community. KAU is open to players who reside in or attend public or private school within the geographic boundaries of both Unionville-Chadds Ford and Kennett Consolidated School Districts. Our programs are designed for players of all skill levels and age groups. Our priority is to develop fundamental baseball and softball skills and outstanding sportsmanship in our players.
Division Structure: KAU reserves the right to alter the division structure for ages 4-10 based on registration numbers and skill level. Divisions will be created to ensure the best playing experience for each participant and to make balanced teams.
Refund Policy: Upon registering your child for KAU Little League, you have committed your child for the season. No refunds will be provided after September 1, 2024. At the discretion of the Board, exceptions may be granted for medical or relocation accommodations.
