We're excited to open registration for Juniors Baseball, designed for players ages 12–14 who are ready for the next step in their baseball development.
Juniors Baseball bridges the gap between Little League and full-field baseball, introducing bigger fields, more advanced rules, and a continued focus on fundamentals, confidence, and teamwork — all in a positive, community-driven environment.

Who is eligible?
Players league age 12–14. Eligibility is based on Little League age charts and residency/school attendance rules. Players must reside in the Kennett or Unionville school districts to be eligible.
Who typically plays Juniors?
Juniors is a great fit for any players who want to continue playing baseball past age 12. Players are typically in 7th and 8th grade, including KMS and Patton Middle School baseball players looking for more game reps and development.
Does the schedule conflict with Middle School baseball?
No. We work around the KMS and Patton Middle School baseball schedules, and many players successfully participate in both.
Is Juniors more competitive than KAU?
In some ways, yes, but player development and sportsmanship still comes first. The differences are Juniors introduces a larger field and allows for more advanced rules like leading and stealing.
What does the schedule look like?
Expect 2–3 events per week, typically a mix of weekday practices and games, with occasional weekend games.
Where are games and practices held?
Most activities are held in Kennett Square, with some travel for league and district games.
Is there travel involved?
Some travel is expected, especially for inter-league play and tournaments, but it is generally local and communicated well in advance.
How many teams will there be?
Teams are formed based on registration numbers. Our goal is to create balanced teams and maximize playing opportunities for all players.
What equipment is required?
Players will need a glove, bat, helmet, cleats, and athletic cup. Team jerseys and hats are provided.
Is there postseason or tournament play?
Yes. Juniors teams may participate in district and tournament play, depending on team interest and eligibility.
